Quality in Tourism Breakfast Award Winners 2020/21
Breakfast is served in our dining room from 8.000am to 9.00am. Guests wishing to leave earlier, a packed breakfast can be ordered in advance to take away.
To start, we offer porridge and an extensive self service buffet area of fruit juice, cereals, homemade museli, grapefruit, fresh fruit and a selection of yogurts.
At this time the buffet area has been suspended and alternative measures have been put in place.
A choice of freshly brewed cafetiere of fair trade coffee or fair trade tea is bought to your table.
Alternatively we also have available Hot Chocolate, Decaffeinated Coffee and Tea and a selection of Speciality and Fruit Teas.
White and/or brown toast, freshly prepared from homemade bread, is delivered to your table. To complement your toast, we offer a selection of locally produced preserves, ranging from honey and jam to lemon curd and peanut butter.

We offer a selection of hot dishes including:

The Carraw Platter – grilled bacon, Northumbrian sausage (meat or vegetarian), black pudding, mushroom, tomato, hash brown, baked beans and free-range eggs - fried, scrambled or poached (or a selection of any of the above)

An omelette with ham, mushroom, tomato or just plain

Two boiled eggs with brown bread

Scrambled Egg and Smoked Salmon on a toasted muffin

Fresh fruit smoothie with warm croissants
Small portions are available for any of our hot dishes on request.
